United Nations Staff Officers ToT Course Ends
The course was officially closed by Brig Gen Didas Ndahiro, the Commandant of the Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College (RDFCSC).
The United Nations Staff Officers Training of Trainers (ToT) course that started on 2 December 2019 at the Rwanda Peace Academy (RPA) ended today Friday, 13 December 2019. The course was officially closed by Brig Gen Didas Ndahiro, the Commandant of the Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College (RDFCSC).
The United Kingdom (UK) Deputy High Commissioner to Rwanda, Ben Snowdon, the representative of the British Peace Support Team – Africa, Lt Col John Hipkins and the Course coordinator from the Integrated Training Service at the UN Department of Peace Operations, Lt Col Abraham Kipchirchir Biwot among others were present at the closing ceremony. The Director of the Rwanda Peace Academy, Col Jill Rutaremara delivered welcoming remarks.
The objective of the course was to familiarise participants with Specialised Training Materials (STMs) for UN staff officers in order to enable them to deliver the course.
A total of 25 Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) officers attended the course.
