Gender in Peace Support Operations Train the Trainer (T3) Course Opens Tomorrow at the Rwanda Peace Academy

The Gender in Peace Support Operations Train the Trainer (T3) Course will start on Monday, 20 September 2021 at the Rwanda Peace Academy (RPA) training facility in Musanze and run up to 01 October 2021. The course is funded by the Government of the United Kingdom (UK) and is organised in partnership between the British Peace Support Team, Africa (BPST-A) and the Rwanda Peace Academy.

The objective of the course is to build professional and institutional capacity in the delivery of gender as well as gender related courses, and consequently contribute to towards operational effectiveness of AU/UN peace operations.

The course will be attended by a total of 20 military, police and civilian personnel from six African countries, namely:  Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda and Zambia.
