Musanze – 1 February 2023

A delegation composed of eight (8) Libyan officials led by Mr. lssaeh Ali Abu Drbala, an advisor to the Libyan Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, today Wednesday 1 February 2023 visited the Rwanda Peace Academy (RPA). The delegation was accompanied by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) official, Mr. Frank Borchers.

The delegation was received and briefed by the Director of the Rwanda Peace Academy, Col (Rtd) Jill Rutaremara, on the role of Rwanda and RPA in peacekeeping.  They were also given a presentation on “Post genocide reconstruction and peacebuilding in Rwanda: policies, strategies, programmes, initiatives, achievements, challenges and lessons learnt”. The presentations were done in the name of Rwanda Cooperation Initiative (RCI).
